McKay Enterprises is a Federal Firearms Licensed 07 manufacturer with a SOT license (license number available upon request) and registered with the DTCC. The company was started in response to the large quantity of low quality and inferior AK receivers and products that dominated the market. We saw the need for higher quality components and chose to utilize the services of aerospace companies to manufacture these components to a significantly higher degree of precision. We utilize higher grades of steel, special heat treatment processes, machining to tight tolerances and 100 percent inspection to achieve performance and durability that has yet to be matched by any other manufacturer, while maintaining a highly competitive price point.
